Myrtle Beach Final days

When we realized that Mark was going to have to have surgery on his leg again, and our Southwest vacation was not going to happen it was a mad scramble to figure out what we were going to do instead.  It was actually Mark's idea to go to MB for two weeks.  I was not really sold on the idea at first as I had my heart set on our other trip but I warmed to the idea of the beach in time.

While we did have fun, we learned that we are no longer sit at the beach people!  We are keep moving and doing things people.  The days that we were on the go we had a blast.  The down days where we were just at the beach or in the condo were LONNNGGGG.  LOL.

The last couple days we were there we played mini golf, hung out at the pool and we walked around the Boardwalk where Mark tried to end me by making me ride that terrifying Skywheel.  If you have not seen the video, you can check it out here:Skywheel torment

We ended up coming home a day early because we had just had enough. It was a 13 hour ride home, made a little longer by a detour we had to take due to a big crash on the PA turnpike but we were happy to get back here.  Mark left to go back to work on Saturday.  I have plans for every weekend this month so I'm not slowing down any time soon!

Thanks for taking the time to check out my vacation blogs.

Be sure to check out the one on Patriots Point if you have not already :Patriots Point and Fort Sumter

Here are the last few photos I had left to post.

Love to all!

Sunrise the last morning we were there.

Sunset the last night we were there.  This was when I went to the ocean to
scatter some of Susan's ashes.

The hermit crab I threatened to bring home for Andrew. lol

My new bestie.

SHARK!

Isn't he cool?

Gah!

If I die of fright on this thing this will be my last selfie

I really don't like him for dragging me on this thing.

He thinks he is so cute.

Nice views though.

Mini golf.

The end!
