Happy New Year!
Not much to say here, just wanted to post some pics. Took a couple hikes on some really cold and overcast days but had fun.
The first day Mark took a little hike over at Lanterman's Mill and saw some reallly beautiful ice formations.
The next hike was a "Pix in the Park" hike put on by the park. It was a 2.5 hour hike led by a naturalist who is also a college level photography teacher. I love this hikes because ( thought I'm not sure it shows yet in my photography) it teaches me different ways to look at things to change the way the photo comes out. I really enjoy the hikes and they are totally free. I am hoping to go on the same hike again on Wednesday afternoon in the snow. I am sure it will be beautiful.

| Mark getting a stick for me so I could poke the ice to make sure it was strong enough to stand on, and then he still would not let me stand on it. he hates me. :( |
